Took this photo last summer at an Italian coffee place in the North End of Boston. Horrible coffee! Slimy cannoli!

Oh, well ... I'd been walking around all day and it was nice to get the chance to sit down for a minute.

The plastic spoon and fork would have been the tip-off. That and the plate that doesn't quite fit the pastry.

I know ... gross. But! That same weekend, I had an absolutely amazing, classic Italian dinner in the same neighborhood. So, I guess it averaged out to a bit more than even.
