In today's episode of The Pretender (Season 1, Episode 3), Jarod impersonates a test pilot.

It's pretty amazing how easy it is to solve a mystery as complicated as this one when 1) you are an extraordinary genius, 2) clues conveniently appear out of nowhere that explain everything as you go along and 3) you get assistance from an elderly indigent who just happens to be a retired nuclear physicist.

If only life were this easy ... And don't forget the silly putty!

Miss Parker gets very little screen time in this episode, but there is a very interesting segment at the end of the program, where we get our first glimpse of the mysterious "Dr. Raines" (followed by a lingering shot of Miss Parker's legs descending from a tiny mini-skirt). I thought the lip-reading interlude was a clever way to further the plot as well.
