This is a neat concept, but I'm not sure what you gain from it, beyond being able to say that you have the latest gadget. The Novatel MiFi device basically connects to the wireless broadband network for you and then allows you to connect to it via your laptop's wireless Internet card.

Seems a lot easier just to buy a wireless broadband card for your laptop, doesn't it?

I have a subscriber to the Sprint Mobile Broadband service ... It's well worth the $65 a month.
