Awesome feature story on Suze Orman in the New York Times Magazine this morning.

I haven't read her books, but I've seen her on TV quite a few times and I have to admit to being a bit fascinated by her. Her money advice seems very basic, but -- then again -- most people probably only need basic money advice. I saw her on one of these money programs a while back and probably the best advice that she gave to people living beyond their means was:

Stop living the lie.

I think that accepting what your means are is probably the first step to living within them.

Anyway, good and entertaining article that sheds a bit of light on who Ms. Orman is, warts and all.

It is good to know that the rich will always be there to remind the poor to know their place. But her advice doesn't hold water when medical bills for the treatment of AIDS or cancer or, really, almost anything, pour in and overwhelm us. What does she advise then? That we not seek life-saving treatment that we cannot afford? Thanks, Suzie, I'll try to live within my means when my life itself is threatened with extinction. Enjoy your next vacation in Cancun or Palm Springs. YOU'VE EARNED IT!

I have mixed feelings about the tan one. I think her advice is very conservative and wise, and it certainly is something a lot of folks need to hear.

But in general, though, I am suspicious and pretty angry at anyone involved in any kind of financial advice/investment enterprise. I have the terrible paranoid feeling that they're all in on the secret and none of the rest of us are.

We just listen to their "wisdom" informing us that the market, over time, averages 10%, don't take your money out, you must invest in stocks to beat inflation, saving money is a fool's game without investment, etc. etc. etc.

We ~ all of us, even those of us who have put some effort into investing ~ are just dummies providing the foundation for what they do, which is fuck us, ultimately.

Crazy, yes? Feels crazy lately. Washington's dicking around on health care for all and until that's solved, everyone but the richest ~ multi multi millionaires and up ~ among us are in danger. One serious, incapacitating illness away from financial disaster.

Good day, sun shines!
There have were times of troubles when I didn't know about opportunities of getting high yields on investments. I was a dump and downright stupid person.
I have never thought that there weren't any need in big initial investment.
Nowadays, I'm happy and lucky , I begin to get real money.
It's all about how to choose a proper companion who uses your funds in a right way - that is incorporate it in real deals, parts and divides the income with me.

You can ask, if there are such firms? I have to answer the truth, YES, there are. Please get to know about one of them:

Hi!
You may probably be very interested to know how one can manage to receive high yields on investments.
There is no initial capital needed.
You may begin to get income with a sum that usually is spent
for daily food, that's 20-100 dollars.
I have been participating in one company's work for several years,
and I'll be glad to share my secrets at my blog.

Please visit my pages and send me private message to get the info.

P.S. I earn 1000-2000 per daily now.

Hi there!
I would like to burn a theme at here. There is such a thing, called HYIP, or High Yield Investment Program. It reminds of financial piramyde, but in rare cases one may happen to meet a company that really pays up to 2% daily not on invested money, but from real profits.

For quite a long time, I earn money with the help of these programs.
I'm with no money problems now, but there are heights that must be conquered . I make 2G daily, and my first investment was 500 dollars only.
Right now, I managed to catch a guaranteed variant to make a sharp rise . Turn to my web site to get additional info.
